My name is Kevin Leahy. I am the inventor and developer of The SpoutOff. I have been in the rain gutter business for over 20 years. I have designed and patented rain gutter products. I've sold rain gutters, installed rain gutters and studied rain gutters.

My experience has taught me that rain gutters are a simple product that SHOULD work but too often DO NOT WORK.

First, let's define "Work" – By Work I simply mean that a gutter moves water away from a house, building, etc. That's it! Any gutter that reliably and unfailingly moves water away from a building is a gutter that "WORKS."

The reason most gutters don't work is that the OUTLET is clogged. It really is that simple

You see, if a gutter has debris in it but the outlet is NOT clogged, water will ALWAYS flow out of that gutter. Conversely, if a gutter is perfectly clean but the outlet IS clogged water will NEVER flow out of that gutter. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE OUTLET.

Understanding that a clean outlet is the SOLUTION, I invented, developed and presently sell The SpoutOff which: (1) Is a VERY LARGE OUTLET that virtually will not clog; (2) Makes it easy, fast and safe for all homeowners to check and clean their outlets, so now they will do it, and (3) Homeowners really do want their rain gutters to work. They just resist climbing up there to clean them. The SpoutOff combines the advantage of knowing water will flow out of your gutters with the benefit of NOT having to climb a ladder.

Remember, properly flowing gutters are not about debris in the gutter but are all about UNCLOGGED OUTLETS.

We have taken a different, logical yet simple approach to ensure all gutters "work." Our experience has taught us that as long as rain gutter outlets are clean and clear, rain gutters will "work."
